What more could a knitter want? The package contained my favorite chocolates, my first set of bamboo knitting needles, two skeins of Cascade 220 yarn in Tweed, stitch counter and the softest stuffed bunny I have ever felt (bearing additional chocolates)! The card was super sweet too. My secret pal rocks!! Thanks Pal!

My Swap Bottle is Here!!!

My swap bottle/box arrived today from my pal in Washington State. I am so happy to see all the cool stuff. New yarn for socks and a shawl, notepads, knitting tools, beaded stitch markers and even a decoration for my home. WoW!!

First finished socks

I finished my first pair of socks. Yipee!! I was able to finish them while staying at the hospital with my mom during her recent surgery. After I finished them she said how much she really liked them so they stayed with her. We have almost the same foot size. I don't think I will show her the ones I am working on now. Grin.
